Gaspard Yurkievich

French designer Gaspard Yurkievich creates energetic ready-to-wear collections that merge mainstream with high-fashion. Yurkievich completed studies at Studio Bercot and went on to win the Festival d'Hyeres in 1997. The following year he was able to launch his first ready-to-wear women's collection. In 2003, Yurkievich introduced a shoe collection and men's line, followed by an accessory line in 2005. Yurkievich regularly calls upon artists and musicians to help forge his innovative collections, and his runway shows reflect his concept of mixing modern and urban. In addition to designing for his eponymous label, Yurkievich has worked on projects for luxury brands like DeBeers, Jaguar, and Van Cleef & Arpels. In 2008, Yurkievich was appointed art director for the French fashion house Rodier.
