70's Corsage Trousers

After graduating from Milan's Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, a university that has taught fine arts since the late 1700s, Italian designer Roberta Furlanetto went on to collaborate with a host of prestigious fashion designers and create her own line of ready-to-wear garments. Originally, it was her mixed media artwork, that interested textile manufacturer Signor Ghioldi. Eventually, fashion designers like Christian Lacroix, Dior, Unagro, and Nina Ricci began to incorporate Furlanetto's curious blend of emotions, color, and materials into their haute couture collections. Like her fabrics, Furlanetto's ready-to-wear collection offers strictly tailored pieces rich in texture but also light and feminine.
