A Jonathan Saunders collection can be distinguished first by its generous usage of color and print, and second by the innovative silhouettes involved. Since launching his namesake line in 2003, a year after graduating from Central Saint Martins, the London-based Scottish designer has received a string of successes, including a deal with Target and runway spot during New York Fashion Week. In 2008, Italian label Pollini asked Saunders to helm their womenswear collection with Nicholas Kirkwood designing the accompanying shoes.
