Swedish designer Johana Dauphin grew up surrounded by painters, designers, and artists, but her own professional career in design did not start until 2003. A graduate with a degree in marketing from Stockholm University, Dauphin pursued a degree in fashion design from the Instituto Europeo di Design in Italy. Upon graduation, she began working with the Italian fashion group Tod's, before landing a job with LMVH as an accessories product manager for Fendi. In 2007, Dauphin packed up and relocated to Paris, where she launched her eponymous line of luxury accessories, hand-crafted jewelry, and leather goods. Her collection is known for a keen sense of rocker spirit with a mix of French and Italian craftsmanship. In 2008, Dauphin was awarded with the Premium Fashion Award in Berlin for her spring '09 accessory collection.
