Skinny Jean

Founded in 2005 by Ali Hewson and Bono, Edun specializes in bringing ethical, organic garments to everyday fashion. Inspired by their many visits to Africa, the U2 frontman and his wife are committed to helping the continent by establishing sustainable trade and creating local economic opportunities. Garments are developed and produced entirely in Africa using factories in Tanzania, working with the independent artisans of Kenya, and sourcing denim inspired by the landscape of Tunisia. In 2010, now with backing from LVMH, Edun relaunched their collection to include luxury garments that, although runway appropriate, still maintain the line's core foundation of using sustainable fabrics and ethical manufacturing standards.
