Los Angeles-based designer Austin Sherbanenko approaches fashion with spontaneity. Direction and planning are thrown out the window, instead the designer follows ideas that are random, but compelling. Sherbanenko began altering and deconstructing clothing at a young age before enrolling in school to formally study fashion. After a few semesters though, Sherbanenko realized he was ready to set out on his own. Instead of class, he concentrated all of his resources and time towards his line of innovative menswear. Garments take inspiration from the punk and skate scenes that filled his youth, and the lack of color in his collection helps to emphasize the quality and texture of each piece.
